17.5 Hour Course, these hours can be distributed in a variety of ways depending on your particular circumstances. We typically train in 3.5 hour sessions. Where we run these back to back (becoming a 7 hour lesson) , extra time will be added to accommodate regular breaks for example, a lunch break. We will not eat into your training time like other schools.
One on One lessons, no cab sharing like other schools.

Our instructors are CRB Checked – It is imperative that you feel safe and confident with our instructors. To that end our instructors are CRB checked.
Dedicated Training Vehicle – No swapping of vehicles mid course.

Reversing Exercise 3a – This called the “off road manoeuvres” test and involves a reverse exercise followed by the uncoupling and recoupling of the tractor unit from and to the trailer. All elements for this test will be taught and demonstrated including best practice for safety and extra information and tips that may be useful having passed your test.
Vehicle safety Checks – At GO-LGV we give our vehicles a daily walk around check to ensure road safety before driving on the road. This vital safety check is embedded in our training and a full explanation and demonstration in all areas given.
On Road Training – The on road element of all of our training courses begin with a demonstration drive from your instructor. This is to help you understand things like road positioning, observational checks and other areas which need to be considered when driving a LGV.
Dedicated Instructor – Your instructor will be the same throughout your course. We do not swap instructors midway through any of our driving courses.
